Cavite: One of the best places to live in the Philippines

Cavite is the best place to live

According to Wikipedia:

Cavite is a province in the Philippines located on the southern shores of Manila Bay in the Calabarzon region on Luzon Island. Situated 21 kilometers (13 mi) southwest of Metro Manila, it is one of the most industrialized and fastest growing provinces in the Philippines. Its population of 3,678,301 (2015) makes it one of the most populated provinces in the country.

For over 300 years, the province played an important role in both the country’s colonial past and eventual fight for independence, earning it the title “Historical Capital of the Philippines”. It became the cradle of the Philippine Revolution, which led to the renouncement of Spanish colonial control, finally culminating in the Philippine Declaration of Independence on June 12, 1898 in Kawit, Cavite. The old provincial capital, Cavite City also hosted docks for the Manila galleon, becoming an essential part of commerce between Asia and Latin America.

Battle of Binakayan Monument

As you can see, Cavite is full of historical stories, it is one of the most visited City and aside from the tourist spots here, Cavite is a best place to live because it is highly accessible from the capital either through the South Luzon Expressway from Muntinlupa City, or the Manila-Cavite Expressway from Pasay City. What I love about Cavite was being close to Nature.

Cavite is now competing with the industry as it is also a place where there are many business parks and job opportunities. Someday all those living here will not have to leave or go to Manila for work because the job opportunity is already here.  Cavite is now one of the civilized, industrialized and most prosperous provinces in the country.

All the opportunities are usually located in the capital city of the country and because the cost of living in Manila is very high, people are looking for a cheap living but near Cities. People choose Cavite as it is also fast becoming a real estate hotspot, not only to locals and OFWs looks for homes, but also to well-heeled investment or leisure property buyers.

In fact, there is a high percentage of non-native Caviteño which is now living in Cavite, because housing projects are booming everywhere here, from low cost to high-quality housing and it is expected to increase by next year.

One of the reasons why I like here in Cavite is that it is close to Tagaytay and Batangas, and since we love riding my husband’s motorcycle it has been easy for us to reach our Favorites places like Tagaytay.

Tagaytay is the new 8th district of Cavite since last year, President Duterte signed the law to divide the Cavite districts, so from 7th district to 8th district of Cavite Province. It is the highest area in Cavite so the climate here is nice and cool which made it a tourist destination. It is known as one of the best destinations in the Philippines.

Cavite has a beautiful natural landscape that has made it a target for many Developers. Later I will show you some great housing projects you can choose if you want to live in Cavite.

 Disadvantages

Due to the increasing number of People, Housing establishments and projects, the traffic become a problem for Caviteños especially if once a place becomes civilized. No one can beat the traffic in MANILA anyway

It was also hard to find enough Public hospitals in every Cavite district, I think the Government needs to resolve this, but if you are financially competent, it will not be a problem. There are also many private hospitals that you will want to visit because of the complete facilities and many excellent doctors.

Cavite is an upslope area from the lowest point (Bacoor Area) to the highest point (Dasma, Silang and Tagaytay). Therefore, when it rains, there is a chance of heavy flooding in low-lying areas like Bacoor Cavite. Bacoor Cavite is the first place you can go if you are coming from Manila, this is the lowest point of Cavite.

You could see the Tagaytay from your house if you are living in some of the highest areas of Cavite and it is known as one of the leading sources of rice in the country, but now the former rice fields are built by some houses. So many houses have been built so far and there are limited areas where you can still see Tagaytay afar.

Population growth does not equate to economic growth. There are fewer job opportunities in Cavite compared to Manila because it is just starting out in the industry.

Mount Pico de Loro
Mount Pico de Loro, also known as Mount Palay-Palay, is a dormant volcano in Cavite province on the island of Luzon, Philippines. The mountain is one of the ancient volcanic features of Bataan Arc.

Advantages

why Cavite?

The climate here is cooler than other cities nearby; it is close to tourist destinations like beaches, natural parks, and mountains.

There is more to Cavite than just Tagaytay. There are many heritage places, shop, food parks and Resorts in Cavite to visit.

If you want to live in a quiet but stable community, Cavite is the best place to live away from busy metro.

Cavite is also good for investment because of its growing economy you may want to keep up with its growing community.

Cavite’s land is vast and many other projects or sites are waiting for so if you have trouble finding a cheap home near your work, Cavite is closest to you. It’s also a good idea to get a housing loan here as some of the areas aren’t still civilized. Don’t wait for more people to live here because residential areas are continuing to grow until this day. Why don’t you invest early while it’s cheap?

Here are some of the best Developers of housing projects you can visit if you are looking for a cheap and quality home.
